If planning to visit the beach between July and August, you may want to make early reservations in order to secure accommodation. Head to Legian Beach for a relaxed atmosphere, as here you will find couches and beanbags on the beach where you can watch the sun go down whilst listening to local music from local Balinese artists. Medewi Beach is a popular surfing location and it is not unusual to see large groups of surfers who are all looking for the perfect wave.
