Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Bali is one of the best experiences as the island becomes a massive party for those holidaying here.

There are many ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Bali with food, drink, music and fireworks, from a sunset cocktail to a fancy dinner to dancing the night away in a club. There are so many ways to celebrate in Bali.

If you want to avoid the massive crowds but still head out on the town, head to Seminyak, a little more laid back than Kuta. Here, you can enjoy dinner in a restaurant before hitting some bars along the beach to watch the fireworks at midnight. Sip a cocktail on the beach as you watch the sun go down and listen to some live music on the beach. There are usually fireworks held at midnight on Seminyak beach.

Some venues will charge a cover charge ranging from 100,000 to 600,000 IDR, so check the venue and make a booking if necessary as they book out.

Fireworks will be held at various locations throughout Bali, but Bali doesn’t always run on a tight timetable. Plan for fireworks at midnight, but don’t be surprised if there are numerous displays at night (or not!)

It is also important to note that New Year’s Eve falls during Bali’s peak tourist season, so you should book your flights and accommodation early to avoid disappointment.

FINNS NYE 2024 at Finns Beach Club

Finns Beach Club will again be doing what it does best: throwing one of the biggest New Year’s Eve events this island has ever seen! Sending the year off in true W style, W Bali—Seminyak will party late into the night and light up the Seminyak beachfront to welcome 2025.

The open-air Main Stage at W Lounge will be graced by electrifying beats from top DJs, including Ferreck Dawn and W Bali’s resident superstars. Then, over on the Hip Hop Stage, vibe your way into 2025 with R&B and hip-hop from Stan, Jeremy Jay, B455, and Schizo.

It goes without saying that this will be one of the most happening countdown parties on the island, wrapped up W-style.

La Brisa Bali

The countdown to 2025 is on, and La Brisa is the place to be! We’re beyond excited to announce this year’s stellar lineup:

Headlining the night is KOLTER, bringing his signature blend of big-room energy and deep house grooves. This Cologne-based powerhouse has been lighting up dance floors across the globe.

Joining him is DJ W!LD from Paris, delivering his iconic mix of house, techno, and acid. Get ready for a smooth, groovy ride with just the right amount of edge!

Next up, we have Marlie, queen of house music, known for her rhythmic, hypnotic sets that have rocked venues like Fabric and DC10.

Desa Potato Head

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner. As ever, we’ll celebrate the occasion with a curated line-up of international and resident DJs, representing the cutting edge of global dance music with a diverse blend of sounds and styles.

Revered UK techno heavyweights Overmono return to the Desa for a DJ set, Dutch party-starter Carista makes her Potato Head debut, and we welcome back Swedish virtuoso Baba Stiltz with his genre-defying sonics. Local favourites and Klymax residents Dita and Gero bring their floor-filling sound, while residents Marvel and Imen complete the billing with a back-to-back performance.

Potato Head Beach Club will be transformed again, with a full stage and extended dancefloor playing host to the eclectic acts. Join us as we usher in 2025 with a daytime-into-night party, celebrating the pinnacle of contemporary club music on the Seminyak shores.

KU DE TA

Ring in 2025 at KU DE TA with international sensation Youngr (UK). Known for his dynamic live-looping performances, Youngr will blend tropical island vibes with his signature electronic beats, creating the perfect atmosphere to welcome the new year in style.

The night will also showcase the KDT All Stars on the DJ decks, delivering an enchanting soundtrack while guests enjoy their NYE dinner. Fireworks will light up Bali skies at midnight to mark the start of the New Year with unforgettable flair.

Akon has made an indelible mark on the music industry with his distinctive voice and genre-blending sound. New Year’s Eve Dinner at Apéritif Restaurant

Step back in time to an era of disco and decadence at Apéritif Restaurant this New Year’s Eve 2025.

The evening will begin with an exquisite eight-course degustation dinner (and optional wine pairing), followed by a dazzling countdown to 2025, a celebratory Champagne toast, and an after-party at Pinstripe Bar.

You’ll want to dust off your finest tuxedo and glitziest evening wear for this one, set to be one of the most glamorous New Year’s Eve events in Bali.

Special New Year’s Eve Dinner at CasCades Restaurant & Bar

Spend the last night of the year overlooking the magical jungle at CasCades Restaurant & Bar, topped off by an Indonesian Archipelago Buffet dinner above Ubud’s Valley of the Kings.

You’ll be treated to a gourmet spread and a very special chef-cooked barbecue of Indonesian favourites (like suckling pig!), alongside delectable wines and cocktails.

And to really set the scene for a spectacular New Year’s Eve, dinner will be accompanied by two mesmerising Balinese dance performances: first a traditional Kecak Dance by the pool, and later a mesmerising Balinese Dance during dinner.

NYE Dining Options

If you’re not in the partying mood and want a more sedate evening, then there are some decent events for NYE in some of the restaurants around the island:

• Chesa, Canggu – the hotel’s THARA Kitchen and Bar, will have a dinner for 299,000++ IDR, but since it ends at 10pm, you will need another venue for the countdown.
• The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua – They’re having a meal in the Mangupura Ballroom, which includes a buffet and live entertainment, and then a beach party from 10 p.m. until the stroke of the New Year. It’s 2,000,000 IDR ++ per person.
• Kappa Senses, Ubud – The Kepuh Restaurant in this resort will host a gala dinner, and then it’s out to the pool for live music and cultural performances! This is 2,250,000++ IDR per person.
• Bambu Indah, Ubud – has a dinner and DJ party with oysters and cocktails at this spot. It’s quite pricey at 3,800,000++ IDR per person, though.
• SUKU Restaurant, Nusa Dua – this place in the Conrad Bali will have a family buffet, a DJ, swing dancing, and fireworks afterwards. It’s 1,200,000++ per person for the buffet, with kids getting in for half price.
