The park is also a popular location for cultural festivals and prayer. Each day a traditional Balinese Kecak dance is performed for visitors held in the amphitheatre at 6.30pm in the evening, with other traditional Balinese dances taking place at various times throughout the day.
The park is huge, covering around 60 hectares of land and is located about 15 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. There is not much shade here, so make sure to bring a hat or an umbrella as it can get very hot walking around the grounds. There are also toilets as well as restaurants where you can get a snack or a cold drink.
