Start your tour of the town at the Sakenan Temple, referred to by the locals as ‘Pura Sakenan’. With two distinct blocks, the temples have ancient coral stones that were used in place of modern building bricks. While at the temple in Serangan Island, take time to tour the pristine beaches for a relaxed afternoon.

While sightseeing in the town, make sure to visit the Bajra Sandhi Monument, a classical masterpiece that symbolises the struggle for independence from the Dutch. With its unique architectural texture, and surrounded by verdant gardens, the iconic landmark is famous for its perfect photograph moments.

Get a glimpse of Bali’s history at the Bali Provincial Public Museum where there are more than 10,000 exhibits. Nature enthusiast will be excited to visit Shark Island and the marvellous Turtle Conservation and Education Centre. As the capital of Bali, Denpasar is a few minutes’ drive from the airport and is close to Kuta.
